教书, 教学与教育

jiāoshū, jiàoxué yǔ jiàoyù

The difference between 教书, 教学 and 教育 is: 教书 is to teach students to understand and memorize the contents of the book, 教学 is to teach students to master the ability to learn, and 教育 is to cultivate a “natural person” into a “social person” through various means and methods.

一、教书[ jiāo shū ]

释义:教学生学习功课

Shìyì: Jiào xuéshēng xuéxí gōngkè 

Definition: Teaching students to study a lesson

例句:王先生, 他在小学里教过书。

Lìjù: Wáng xiānshēng, tā zài xiǎoxué lǐ jiàoguò shū.

Example: Mr. Wang, he taught in elementary school.

 

二、教学[ jiào xué ]

释义:教师把知识、技能传授给学生的过程。

Shìyì: Jiàoshī bǎ zhīshì, jìnéng chuánshòu gěi xuéshēng de guòchéng.

Definition: The process by which teachers impart knowledge and skills to students.


例句:二十年来,我一直从事教学工作,也一直以写作为副业。

Lìjù: Èrshí niánlái, wǒ yīzhí cóngshì jiàoxué gōngzuò, yě yīzhí yǐ xiězuò wéi fùyè.

Example: For twenty years, I have been teaching and writing as a sideline.

 

三、教育[ jiào yù ]

释义:

Shìyì:

Definition:

1. 按一定要求培养人的工作,主要指学校培养人的工作

Àn yīdìng yāoqiú péiyǎng rén de gōngzuò, zhǔyào zhǐ xuéxiào péiyǎng rén de gōngzuò

The work of cultivating people according to certain requirements, mainly refers to the            work of cultivating people in schools

2. 按一定要求培养

Àn yīdìng yāoqiú péiyǎng

Cultivation according to certain requirements

3. 用道理说服人使照着(规则、指示或要求等)做

Yòng dàolǐ shuōfú rén shǐ zhàozhe (guīzé, zhǐshì huò yāoqiú děng) zuò

Use reason to persuade people to follow (rules, instructions or requirements, etc.) to do

 

例句:处分你是为了教育你,也是为了教育大家。

Lìjù: Chǔfèn nǐ shì wèile jiàoyù nǐ, yěshì wèile jiàoyù dàjiā.
